City Guide - Amsterdam
Hi Loves,
Since we are based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, we will share with you our favourite city recommendations for your weekend trip to Amsterdam <3
1. OUR LOVE FOR ITALIAN FOOD
The best Italian food, you will find in two places. The first one is Trattoria Ceppi's, located near Leidseplein. Their Burrata + Bread combo is something you cannot miss out on, the ambiance is absolutely great and such a cute and cozy setting. Make sure to book your table on time, as they tend to be fully booked most of the time. The second place is Fiko - Pizza Bar in de Pijp. We can assure you, you have never tasted such delicious pizza's before. In summer time, make sure to get some ice cream at IJscuypje after (yoghurt flavour pls, thanks us later).

2. GOING OUT FOR A DRINK, OR TWO, OR THREE
A place that we absolutely love to go to at night is De Klaproos in Amsterdam North. The music is so good for a pre drink before clubbing and the industrial design is just amazing. They serve pretty amazing pizza's as well. The entrance is super cool and and the place has a really nice laid-back vibe. If you are not in the mood to go all the way North, Venster 33, De Tulp and Cannibale Royale are really nice places to go to for a drink in de Pijp, pretty much our favourite area in Amsterdam.

3. CLUBBING BECAUSE DANCING IS LIFE
Depending on the mood and music you are into, we have a few favourite club destinations for you in Amsterdam. 1. We always end up dancing the night away at de Kopstootbar nearby Leidseplein, where they stream popular sports games during the day/evening and play all kinds of music depending on the event during the night. 2. Chin Chin Club at Rozengracht for all your dances on a Friday night. Very chilled club, one of our favourites. 3. Chicago Social Club at Leidseplein. We love this one a lot on a Thursday or Friday night.

4. HANGOVER CURES IN THE CITY
If the hangover is really bad, we will stay inside and order a lunch combo from Joe & The Juice. Tunacado sandwich highly recommended. If the hangover is not too bad, we will go out to grab a coffee or a healthy juice. Saint-Jean is one of our favourite coffee spots in de Jordaan. Their Matcha Latte is so incredibly good. You should give it a try with one of their cinnamon buns. Perfect for a Sunday morning. We love Benji's as well for a good brunch on a weekend day. During the week, when we are not hangover (at least we try not to be) we will bring our laptop to Coffee Company to get some work done.

5. FIT LIFE IN AMSTERDAM
Our all-time favourite gym is located at the Zuidas, named Clubsportive. It is a 2500m2 high end gym with the greatest and newest technogym equipment. Besides it's great location, they provide towel service, an amazing spa with swimming pool, sauna and steam room to relax and recharge after your bad ass workout. You can use the luxury beauty and health products from Zenology and enjoy the music of a live DJ during some of the nights. Best gym out there!

6. SELF CARE
We love us some self care, don't we? We will soon dedicate a full blog to the self care topic, but we will share our favourite self care getaway in Amsterdam. At the Zuidas, they recently opened Renessence, an amazing high end spa with modern treatments, such as cryotherapy, ice-baths, floating sessions, oxygen therapy and classes. You can explore the different treatments to see what the benefits are and what they do to both your physical and mental health. We are a big fan of the cryotherapy, where your body will be in an ice cold room of -60 degrees Celcius for 30 seconds, and then -120 degrees Celcius for 2.5 minutes. You will feel extremely energized after this session, ready to kick ass that day!
